History & Band Background
Maxima Tropics was founded by Jules Drade, Peruvian vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and producer based in London, as a premium live music project delivering high-quality performances for corporate events, private celebrations, weddings and cultural programming.
The band features a highly experienced Chilean rhythm section: Italo Arauz (drums), also a core member of Imperio Bamba, with over 20 years of professional experience in Chile and 2 years in the UK, performing with projects including Imperio Bamba, Naomi in Blue, Adrián García and others. Blosqui (Pablo Avellana) (bass), a professional bassist from Chile with an extensive live career in Chile and continued performance work in London over the past 2 years. Also an integral member of imperio bamba.
Together, the musicians have performed for more than a year and a half across both Imperio Bamba and Maxima Tropics, with residencies at Revolución de Cuba (Reading and Milton Keynes), Barrio Shoreditch, and a wide range of private events and weddings.
Maxima Tropics is defined by musical versatility and client-focused delivery. We can tailor each setlist to match the audience profile, event format and desired energy curve , from original-style versions to Latin reinterpretations, funk-infused arrangements, or our signature Rebel Chicha approach.
Our bilingual repertoire (English and Spanish) includes over 200 songs, allowing us to design customised live sets for elegant receptions, high-energy parties, brand activations and multicultural events.
Historia y Trayectoria
Maxima Tropics fue fundado por Jules Drade, vocalista, guitarrista, compositor y productor peruano radicado en Londres, como un proyecto de música en vivo premium, orientado a ofrecer presentaciones de alta calidad para eventos corporativos, celebraciones privadas, bodas y programación cultural.
La banda cuenta con una base rítmica chilena de gran trayectoria profesional: Italo Arauz (batería), también miembro clave de Imperio Bamba, con más de 20 años de experiencia profesional en Chile y 2 años en el Reino Unido, habiendo tocado con proyectos como Imperio Bamba, Naomi in Blue, Adrián García, entre otros. Blosqui (Pablo Avellana) (bajo), bajista profesional chileno con una extensa carrera en vivo en Chile y actividad continua en el circuito musical de Londres durante los últimos 2 años. También un miembro importante en imperio bamba.
Como equipo, los músicos llevan más de un año y medio tocando juntos en Imperio Bamba y Maxima Tropics, residencias en espacios como Revolución de Cuba (Reading y Milton Keynes), Barrio Shoreditch, además de múltiples eventos privados y bodas.
Maxima Tropics se distingue por su versatilidad musical y enfoque orientado al cliente. Adaptamos cada setlist según el perfil del público, el formato del evento y la curva de energía deseada: desde versiones fieles al original hasta relecturas latinas, arreglos con influencia funk o nuestro sello característico Rebel Chicha.
Nuestro repertorio bilingüe (inglés y español) supera las 200 canciones, lo que nos permite diseñar sets personalizados para recepciones elegantes, fiestas de alto impacto, activaciones de marca y eventos multiculturales.
